I am a robotics and embedded engineer from India, presently working in the United Kingdom. My first entry into robotics was with the robot you see in the picture. A remotely operated manually controlled robot for the 2018 ABU Robocon competition. At that time, I was at LJ Institute of Engineering and Technology (now LJ University) in Ahmedabad and my team consisted of a bunch of like-minded computer science nerds who were just very excited about the opportunity to work on robots. Starting from toggling a pin on Arduino, I have since worked on various robotics projects including 2 years consequtively as a participant in the India chapter of ABU Robocon and 1 year as a mentor to the team. My team and I also started working on a bunch of freelance projects and this allowed me to dabble in IoT and Android. I recently completed my MSc in Biorobotics from the University of Bristol and am working as an embedded and automation engineer for a Electronics product development company in Scotland. My research interests are in the use of bio-inspired control systems for robotic locomotion, in particular Central Pattern Generators.
